John Templeton Foundation Offers $1 million Challenge Grant to Fund the Culture and Media Institute

In 2006, Philadelphia-based John Templeton Foundation pledged $1 million to fund the establishment of the MRC’s Culture and Media Institute on the condition that others match the Foundation. This three-year $1 million challenge grant helps finance the Culture and Media Institute’s first three years of operations.

The Templeton Foundation’s $1 million Challenge Grant provided the seed funding to establish the Culture and Media Institute, with a mission to advance, preserve, and help restore America’s culture, character, traditional values, and morals against the assault of the liberal media elite at the national level. The Culture and Media Institute plans reach across a spectrum of media: print, radio, television and the Internet. The MRC is extremely grateful to the Templeton Foundation and encouraged by its commitment and confidence in us.

Take the Challenge!
