Homosexual activists at a “No on Prop. 8” rally in Palm Springs, California, snatched a cross out of the hands of a peaceful counter-protester and stomped on it in full view of a television camera crew. Upon seeing the spectacle, local CBS news anchor Kris Long asserted that there is "anger and hate on both sides” of the marriage debate.
