Glenn Beck Leaps To Palin’s Defense, Threatens To Boycott Random House

This could turn into an interesting showdown. Glenn Beck leapt to fellow Fox News employee Sarah Palin’s defense on his radio show today after her recent Facebook announcement that journalist Joe McGinniss had taken up residence next door to her Wasilla home.

Palin apparently sent Beck an email last night before posting the news on her Facebook telling him McGinniss’ presence was a “nightmare for our family.” Beck thinks McGinniss moving next door is the equivalent of stalking, is “really creepy” and that “Todd Palin should receive a medal for restraint.” Beck also issued this threat:

If you don’t get control of your authors I will never mention a Random House book ever again. And I don’t know if you’ve noticed this, but I tend to sell books, not just my books, but books from other publishers.

This is true by the way. And if this turns into a larger fight between Glenn Beck and Random House, I suspect, the state of publishing being what it is (and the state of RH in particular, which is not good) McGinniss may find himself pressured to move on. Audio below.

Joe McGinniss- the same guy who had to payoff Jeffrey MacDonald , the guy who murdered his family, because of McGinniss’ betrayal.

“In an act of betrayal to MacDonald, McGinniss portrayed MacDonald as a drug-crazed maniac who murdered his family.MacDonald filed a civil suit against McGinniss that was settled out of court. McGinnis paid $325,000 to MacDonald.”

I think the question is where does one person’s freedom ends and anothers begins. So you wouldn’t have a problem with someone writing a hit piece on you moving in next door and leering at you 24/7. i don’t think this is a question of him being allowed to do it, but rather the moral compass of the left that thinks it’s acceptable.

There was a boycott in a city in Texas from Hispanics against white owned business after a local Hispanic leader told them too over Immigration legislation. They claimed success. They were so proud because they showed they reduced revenue by 19%.
But the businesses then wrote “Yes they reduced our customers by 19% but our shoplifting was reduced by 87% and the money orders for out of the country was reduced by 98% and the cost of daily clean up and trash was reduced by 84%. So they made more money from the boycott….

Along with Shoppers were reported they could actually hear English spoken throughout the community. and the business purchases was with real money and not government debit cards or food stamps.

Joe McGinniss living next to Sarah Palin by itself is not stalking. If he invades her privacy or other that can legally be investigated as stalking, then that’s stalking.

Just as Beck can recommend not to mention (purchase) Random House books. If you think OK for Joe McGinniss to move in next door, then the same logic/acceptance should apply for Beck to threaten to boycott Random House.

Liberal comments championing this writer’s actions appear to call for the world of “1984.”

Sh!t like this, and the fact that you can’t recognize it for what it is, prove that you have been lobotomized. Liberals, at least on this, have no independent thought and only spew hatred while adding “k”s when its “cool” to words. I continue to hope that LIBERALS HERE ARE JUST TRASH TOO INTIMIDATED TO POST ON KOS OR HUFFINGTON.

True liberals are smarter and worthy of debate than this rabble here.

This FOOL is definitely a STALKER! He has been to some of her book signings and bid $70,000. to have dinner with Sarah, (someone bid higher and won.) Then he moves to Wasilla, RIGHT NEXT DOOR??? I hope Sarah will get a restraining order against this weirdo creep. And if Glenn Beck decides to boycott Random House, this guy has a huge problem. Go Glenn! (I won’t be buying his silly book!)

    video

Oh, those enterprising morning zoo radio show hosts, where would we be without them? For some reason, someone decided to disguise themselves as a USA Today reporter to prank call today's BP press conference announcing the end of Top Kill, and asked BP COO Doug Suttles about "The Kidd Chris Show," a shock jock morning show based in Portland, Oregon.

Fox News Panel Prefers Ashley Dupre To Eliot Spitzer As CNN Host

    video

What is it about prostitution that turns everyone into a 12-year-old boy? Today's Fox News Watch was particularly giggly, as they were discussing the possibility of former New York governor Eliot Spitzer, whose claim to fame is having slept with a prostitute once, getting his own TV show on CNN. After a bout of ineptly-suppressed laughter, Newsweek columnist Ellis Henican suggests a plan so perfectly crazy, it might just work: an Ashley Dupre-hosted show on CNN, instead.
